Institute of Workforce Development
was established to execute the mandate of the National Career Centre by
providing practical solutions and career service initiatives, through
innovative thinking and creativity, to the current Workforce in
Nigeria.
The efficient use of human capital in successful modern economies
relies on the management, development and use of skills &
competencies. Ensuring that individuals have the skills relevant to
future employment opportunities is one of the key drivers to achieving
the nation’s economic vision.
Since
its establishment, Institute of Workforce Development has been engaged
in activities and programmes that is geared towards ensuring that
Nigerian Graduates become better equipped with the skills and
competencies required to secure better jobs
Institute of Workforce Development has the mandate to:
- Raise the skills of the current workforce in Nigeria;
- Enhance the ‘knowledge base’ of those entering the Nigerian workforce; and
- Address the employability skills of those currently not in employment in the country
We
are now introducing e-learning initiative known as Bringing E-skills To
Africa (BETA) that offers students an opportunity to learn more that
500 courses at a highly affordable cost. This initiative is bound to
affect millions and we're inviting you to be a part of it.
